Dal 6 gennaio nell’alta rotazione di Radio Rock entrano i seguenti brani:
Birds, nuovo brano dei Katatonia. In attesa del nuovo album Sky Void Of Stars, in uscita il prossimo 20 gennaio, e dopo i singoli Austerity ed Atrium, la band torna con un nuovo viaggio dinamico attraverso l’oscurità vibrante.
Panopticom di Peter Gabriel. Il brano, uscito a sorpresa negli scorsi giorni, è un’anticipazione del prossimo album I/O e, a detta dello stesso artista, si basa su un’idea alla quale ha lavorato per avviare la creazione di un mondo di dati accessibile ed espandibile all’infinito: il Panopticom, appunto.
God Bless The USA dei The Men. Ulteriore assaggio del loro nono album in studio New York City – che verrà pubblicato il prossimo 3 febbraio -, il brano sancisce il ritorno del gruppo ad un sound più sporco e abrasivo.
The End Of A Gun, nuovo singolo estratto da l’ultima fatica discografica dei Ghost Woman: Anne, If. Impossibile non rimanerne rapiti dai vividi echi anni ’60 e ’70.
Erwin dei Gazebo Penguins, nuova perla del blasonatissimo LP Quanto. La canzone parla della quotidianità di coppia e si staglia su una veste sonora fatta di chiaroscuri.
Contro Il Mondo dei Baustelle. Il brano è il ritorno al criticismo e al Rock’N’Roll, come lo descrivono loro, e tra le sue liriche la quotidianità fatta di yoga, di aperitivi e di routine si scontra con la necessità di evasione che culmina in un grido di ribellione.
Si intitola "Panopticom" la prima canzone di Peter Gabriel sette anni, condivisa dall'artista in queste ore, a sorpresa, quale primo estratto dall'atteso nuovo album dell'ex frontman dei Genesis, "I/O", in uscita probabilmente quest'anno.
